The weather was kind to our athletes and thus optimum conditions prevailed at this year’s ‘Bridge Run’ in Leobersdorf: 14 degrees and only a slight breeze.

A record number turned out for the Variotherm Sports Team with 33 athletes taking part in the four disciplines 10 km Run, Relay, Nordic Walk and Kids. Around 1,200 registered participants and another 3,000 spectators ensured a wonderful atmosphere in the centre of Leobersdorf, which was in no way dampened by the occasional rain showers during the award ceremonies.

We would like to congratulate our Technical Manager, Thomas Baumgartner, for winning second place in the Nordic Walk and our relay team, the ‘Diving Ducks’, for their fourth place.
