In a suburb of Athens, Variotherm's surface heating and cooling systems have now been installed in a modern new building - and with a unique view of the sea.
It is no secret that Variotherm is known far beyond the Alpine and Danube regions. In beautiful Greece, more precisely in Voula, a beach suburb of Athens, Variotherm dry construction system was implemented for this new building. For the loft on the top floor with a direct view of the sea, systems were used for heating and cooling. After all, even in the Greek winter there is a need for cosy warmth within one's own four walls, while in the hot summer pleasant and draught-free cooling is required.
On-site climatic and technical expertise
The building, which was constructed in energy class A++, consists of a total of 650 m2 of living space. With Calda Energy, Variotherm has a direct local sales partner and this has more than proven its worth over the past few years.
Customers can thus contact the respective partner in the region directly, who not only forms the perfect bridge between the innovative production in Austria and the place of use in the respective country, but on top of that also has the regional competence for country-specific construction methods.
In many cases, the local sales partner also takes care of individual planning, as in this example. For the building project in Voula, Greece, all rooms in the attic loft were equipped with Variotherm's high-quality products. Both underfloor heating and wall/ceiling cooling were installed.
In addition to the surface heating and cooling systems, the sophisticated VarioManifold were used.
Optimal activation of all available areas
A meander edge zone was also planned and installed for the large window areas. This means that all areas - including the edge zones - can now be used in the best possible way to ensure perfect well-being for the future residents.
With a view of the expanse of the Aegean Sea, the owners have realised a dream that guarantees maximum well-being in every season - no matter whether it is a cold winter or a hot summer - not only outdoors but also indoors.
