The roughly 400-year-old house, which is listed as a historic monument, was comprehensively restored with the help of local craftsmen. It is now used as a museum and shop for naive art from all over the world.
Variotherm skirting heaters were deployed as an inconspicuous, integrated heating system in the sales area. System wall heating was integrated into the northern walls adjoining the church. This means that the walls, which have always been damp, are now permanently dry. In the entrance area there is also floor heating in order to keep the stone floor at a pleasant temperature.
