Heavenly warmth
The visitors of the church in Pottendorf-Landegg (Lower Austria) do not have to freeze during the mass as 90 running meters of the Variotherm skirting heating system were installed under the pews.
Skirting heating systems are a cheap and very pleasant heating option for churches. The heating elements react quickly - that's why they can be switched on immediately before the start of the mass and donate a pleasant warmth immediately. If it is cold in the church, the skirting heating not only warms the feet, but also creates comfortable seats. So it stays warm throughout the winter at the holy mass and energy costs remain low.
